Qualifications Summary

Mr. Young has over eighteen (18) years of exceptional experience in leading, managing and performing complex analyses for organizations of varied functions, structures, and professional staffing levels. His responsibilities have encompassed the full range of tax, financial management, and quality assurance activities from accounting to information technology and risk management. Mr. Young’s management experiences have included supervising a select staff of quick reaction professionals to directly supporting hundreds of technical, professional, and administrative personnel. His demonstrated strengths and areas of expertise include tax management and planning, accounting and finance, quality assurance, project management, strategic planning, forensic accounting, and enterprise-wide risk management. Todd’s work background includes quality control management, contract management, public accounting firm ownership, controller support, financial reports management, tax management, and senior tax accountant. Mr. Young has additional experience in a variety of areas to include tax preparation and planning, risk management, financial reporting, and internal control design.

Mr. Young began his public accounting practice in 2003 and has been assisting clients with their tax, accounting, quality management, assurance, and payroll services since that time. He has experience in many industries including retail, energy, real estate, banking, insurance, construction, and various aspects of the service sector. Mr. Young assists his clients in evaluating and implementing best practices and is instrumental in deriving operational and financial benefit from existing and redesigned processes. He serves clients of all sizes from small to large and his specialties include tax preparation and planning for individuals and businesses, quality management, and business consulting.

Mr. Young served as Deputy Office Chief for The Greentree Group’s Oklahoma City operations. In that position, he was responsible for quality management activities related to the HUD Mortgagee Compliance Manager contract and running the day to day operations. Mr. Young is outstanding at oral and written communications; an expert at data manipulation; managing cost, schedule, performance, and quality events. Mr. Young was the in-house office expert on the use of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, as well other project management and systems application tools.


Maguire Bros., Inc. & Affiliates

Mr. Young was responsible for all financial and tax accounting functions of this privately owned business group with operations in the construction, telecommunications, oil and gas, and real estate industries. Specifically, he was responsible for advising owners on the financial and tax consequences of all major business transactions. Mr. Young improved the accuracy of financial reporting by applying existing accounting standards to business operations in construction and oil and gas companies. He also improved the efficiency of office operations by upgrading technological resources. In the forensic accounting area, Mr. Young completely reconstructed the financial records of a major Telecommunications Company to prepare more accurate financial statements.

Mr. Young was responsible for financial reporting of company-owned stores for this publicly-owned entity. This process included communication with business partners to explain accounting procedures and financial results. He participated in process improvement programs and helped enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the corporation’s accounting system. Mr. Young managed two levels of departmental personnel. Mr. Young was also responsible for tax planning and compliance for corporate entities and company-owned restaurants. He researched federal and state tax issues and communicated the results to upper management and business partners.

Mr. Young began his career with an international accounting firm. While employed there, he researched and communicated tax implications of business transactions for clients in various industries including oil and gas, manufacturing, banking and insurance. He prepared and reviewed income tax returns for various forms of legal business entities. Mr. Young was also actively involved in recruiting and training new employees. His fund raising activities included Junior Achievement and the American Heart Association.

MIKE HUEBERT, CPA

Mike joined the firm in November 2014. He has 23 years of experience in public accounting. His experience includes auditing, compilation and reviews, agreed-upon procedures, income tax and bookkeeping. Mike has worked with a variety of industries, including financial institutions, defined benefit and defined contribution retirement plans, rural utilities, construction and not-for-profit organizations, such as foundations, colleges, universities and tribal governments.


Mike is a graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University. He is a member in good standing with the Oklahoma Accountancy Board and with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
